Senate Committee shuts down gold and property tax bills
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The South Dakota Senate Taxation Committee heard two bills Wednesday, but both failed to advance. Senate Bill 7 seeks to modify the tax rate and tax distributions for gold severed in the state and to create a new fund for rural water infrastructure projects.
