After eight years of planning, work has begun on the water tower, pumping station and distribution center for the Vernon Center Water District, which should be ready for home hookups within the year.
Gabriel Lade received funding from the Leopold Center for Sustainable Agriculture, the Center for Agricultural and Rural Development, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture to conduct this research.
