The Memphis Grizzlies led by as many as 20 points in a tight battle against the Orlando Magic in Berlin’s Uber Arena.

Paolo Banchero had 26 points and 13 rebounds, Franz Wagner had 18 points and nine rebounds in his return to the Magic lineup, and Orlando beat the Memphis Grizzlies 118-111 on Thursday in the NBA’s first regular-season game in Germany.

At level nine they get new options for the core Rogue feature, Cunning Strike, all geared toward legitimately disrupting enemy spellcasters’ magic by imposing disadvantage on saving throws or forcing an enemy magic-user to pass a saving throw or fail at casting a spell. They can also straight-up steal any kind of damage resistance from a target.

While the trip overseas may have been new for many on the Grizzlies and Magic rosters, it was a homecoming for some. Moritz and Franz Wagner both represent the German National Team in FIBA, and had family in attendance for today’s game in Berlin.

The Magic have missed Wagner’s scoring, rebounding and relentless energy during his nearly 13-month absence. He had emerged as an NBA Sixth Man of the Year candidate before his injury last season, averaging 12.9 points and 4.9 rebounds and shooting a career-best 36.0 percent from 3-point range.
