Basic Income in Canada was proven to reduce poverty while growing the economy and supporting jobs. According to a new study from the Canadian Centre for Economic Analysis, the Canada Child Benefit is a national basic income for families and it is good for the economy: contributing 453,000 jobs, $85B in business revenues and $46B annually to Canada's GDP (nearly 2.5% GDP). 588,000 children are being kept out of poverty.
