Throughout Basic Training or One Station Unit Training U.S. Army Trainees receive 11-hours of instruction on Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC). The TCCC concept was established in 1996 by Special Operations Forces as an evidence-based and battlefield-proven way to reduce deaths at the point of injury.
