The newly-restored model of the Great Polish Map of Scotland has been officially unveiled yesterday at the map's site in Eddleston. On that occasion, a 3D model of the monument, developed by Historic Environment Scotland, has also been launched by Cabinet Secretary Fiona Hyslop. The digital model, which highlights the cultural links between Scotland and Poland, will be presented as a Scottish contribution to the Polish independence centenary celebrations in November this year.
